ONLY THE DEMOCRATS WILL FIGHT INFLATION AND CONTINUE WORKING TO IMPROVE OUR LIVES
Only the Democrats will combat corporate greed, fight inflation, and continue working tirelessly to ensure that all Americans have the right to share in the American Dream.
QUICK READ: Democrats have just 12 days left to convince the American electorate that they, alone, have the will to combat corporate greed (which is fueling inflation), to ensure that we all have the right to economic security, and to protect our fundamental freedoms (including abortion), our democracy, our voting rights, the integrity of our elections and the peaceful transfer of power.
CONTENTS:
BACKGROUND
Before casting their votes, Americans must consider whether Democrats or MAGA Republicans will better protect our fundamental freedoms (including abortion), our democracy, and our economic security.
Congress’ Democratic majority lowered health care and prescription drug costs, extended unemployment benefits, instituted the Child Tax Credit, attacked climate change, put Americans to work rebuilding our physical infrastructure, reinvigorated manufacturing, and protected family farms. All, or almost all, Republicans opposed these accomplishments.
Additionally, House Democrats, over GOP opposition, passed bills providing family and medical leave, child and home health care, universal pre-K, affordable housing; combatting corporate greed and gas and grocery price gouging, that fuel inflation; and protecting voting rights, the integrity of our elections, workers’ rights, abortion, contraception, and same-sex marriage—currently blocked by GOP Senators.
If Democrats increase their congressional majorities, they can enact these stalled policies—which will actually decrease inflation; put more money in Americans’ pockets; provide economic security; protect our democracy, our elections, and our fundamental rights; combat corporate price gouging; strengthen Social Security and Medicare; and make the wealthy pay their fair share.
In the next 12 days, Democrats must convince Americans that they, alone, will fight corporate greed and for everyone’s right to share in the American Dream.
