BACKGROUND
The Congressional July 4 recess is here and we cannot let up. We need to attend town halls on Zoom and call our Members of Congress. The filibuster must be abolished and the freedom to vote must be protected.
We know it’s tough to keep fighting. But our constant drum beat has made a difference. For those who have birthed a child -- and if you haven’t, you’re here because of this process
-- there is a moment of transition, when you feel like you just want to get off the table and forget about the whole thing. No. Mothers, children of mothers, here’s the truth: we can’t just let it go. Now is the crucial time to push. Congress is in recess for two weeks. We need to go to town halls on zoom and call daily.
So find your support. Get a buddy or two or three to make a calling support group, and call Congress daily. Attend town halls. Join phone banks.
We are the ones making history. Join us, take a deep breath, and PUSH!
