Background
The American people are America’s infrastructure. We built our families, our communities, our country. President Biden, VP Harris, and Congressional Democrats understand this - the American Jobs Plan and the American Families Plan invests in:
Children - early childhood education and childcare
Education - post secondary education and teachers
Workers - creating care economy jobs and paid family leave
Health - clean water and improved nutrition
Income - tax credits for the middle class, tax increases on wealthiest and corporations
Networks - roads, bridges, broadband, electric grid
All of this is based in racial justice, helping our country, and asking those with so much to pay their fair share.
