TO KNOW PROJECT 2025 IS TO HATE IT
QUICK READ: Americans value our freedoms, privacy, and democracy—all under attack in Project 2025, the far-right manifesto crafted by Trump’s inner circle to replace our multiracial democratic institutions and constitutionally protected rights and freedoms with Christian-based authoritarianism. We and our Members of Congress must continue to educate our friends and relatives about the horrors that await then should Trump win in November.

BACKGROUND
Americans value our freedoms, privacy, and democracy—all under attack in Project 2025, the far-right manifesto crafted by Trump’s inner circle to replace our multiracial democratic institutions and constitutionally protected rights and freedoms with Christian-based authoritarianism. It lays out an extremely unpopular vision for America, where book bans and abortion bans are the norm, the government controls our use of birth control and IVF, and discrimination based on race, sex, gender, and religion prevails.
Its 887-page policy agenda calls for additional massive changes most Americans believe will negatively affect them and our country:
Sabotaging climate change policies and air and water protection
Undermining public education
Persecuting LGBTQ+ Americans
Curtailing or eliminating workers’ protections
Imposing reactionary evangelical Christianity
Detaining and deporting 20+ million immigrants and shrinking immigration
Destroying our social safety net
Giving the President dictatorial powers.
Implementing this agenda will be the vetted and trained Trump loyalists who ‘ll replace many of the 2 million federal civil servants. Trump cronies are also compiling and publishing a list of higher-level employees who might thwart Trump’s policies—reminiscent of McCarthyism.
This takeover’s been planned for decades: First infiltrating Congress; then the federal judicial system and SCOTUS. Now, they’re focused on destroying the Executive Branch.
The more Americans learn about Project 2025, the more they fear for their and the country’s futures. We must keep it front and center until Election Day.

Between now and November I expect you to regularly use your bully pulpit to tell the American people about all the ways in which Project 2025 will hurt them.

I am asking you to speak out loudly against the GOP’s present extremism and its support for the war on women. The selection of J.D. Vance demonstrates once again that its agenda does not represent what Americans want. Protect reproductive freedom.
