BIDEN AND DEMOCRATS HAVE OUR BACKS
Democrats must continue reminding Americans how much this administration accomplished and how much more will be possible.
QUICK READ: The Biden administration’s accomplishments often get lost. Among his successes are 9+ pieces of legislation—including the first gun safety law passed in 30 years and the largest climate investments ever—and rolling back Trump policies, appointing the first Black woman Supreme Court Justice and the most federal judges since 1962, reinvigorating NATO and leading its support for Ukraine, and adding 10+ million new jobs. Touting these accomplishments to voters will ensure increased Congressional majorities, so Democrats can further improve the lives of all Americans.

BACKGROUND
During the Biden administration’s first 18 months, Biden and Congressional Democrats recorded significant accomplishments—despite a 50-50 Senate, a bare House majority, and an obstructionist MAGA opposition.
Significant legislation includes:
$1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan providing COVID relief to economy, public health, governments, individuals, and businesses,
$1.2 trillion infrastructure law,
Anti-Lynching Act,
Violence Against Women Act,
First gun safety law in 30 years,
Admitting Finland and Sweden into NATO
Most significant research and high-tech funding bill (CHIPS Act) passed in decades,
PACT Act, treating veterans exposed to toxic substances during military service,
Inflation Reduction Act, making largest climate investment ever, lowering prescription drug prices, extending health care subsidies, imposing 15% minimum business tax.
Overturned Trump’s transgender service members’ ban,
Suspended Trump-reimposed federal executions,
Rejoined Paris Climate Accord,
Withdrew from Afghanistan,
Appointed first black woman to Supreme Court and confirmed most judges since Kennedy,
Restored NATO and led its support for Ukraine,
Killed al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri,
Added 10+ million new jobs with unemployment falling to 3.5%.
We must champion Biden's accomplishments. Voters need to know that Democrats, not MAGA Republicans, are working to improve their lives so they’ll build Democratic Congressional majorities in November.
Unless the Senate works through August, there won’t be time to confirm all judicial and executive nominees or have Senate votes on these bills, and the American people won’t learn MAGA Republicans’ true colors.
Doing so helps ensure Democrats maintain their Congressional majorities in November.
