The January 6 attack on our country was a crime

The House investigators have amassed evidence that will “blow the roof off the House”

QUICK READ: The January 6 Committee has doggedly interviewed 8,000 witnesses and reviewed tens of thousands of documents to hold accountable those who planned, promoted and paid for the crime. “The illegality of the plan was obvious,” said one federal judge after examining the Committee’s evidence. As the Committee prepares for public hearings in June, we’re beginning to see compelling evidence of the horrendous crime they’ve uncovered.

TAKE ACTION NOW:

BACKGROUND

Even before election day, Trump and his co-conspirators planned to steal the election

After Biden’s win, they launched a series of legal challenges designed to make certain state results appear fraudulent. No court agreed.

Then, with a few Trump Republicans (including Reps. MT Green, Matt Geatz, and other members of the House “Freedom Caucus”), the gang implemented  its last-ditch plan.

The plan focused on Jan. 6, when Congress would meet to certify Biden’s win.

But, if Mike Pence, who presided over certification, refused to accept certain state votes, the election would be thrown into the House, which had more Republican state delegations, and Trump would win.

Federal Judge David Carter found this to be a crime.

Trump pushed Pence, even calling him on the morning of Jan. 6 to say: “You can be a patriot or you can be a pussy.” Pence refused, and hours later Trump urged the crowd to fight like hell or they wouldn’t have a country

Now, Trump Republicans have so rigged state elections and denied millions the right to vote that they could easily steal the 2024 election.

When the Jan. 6 Committee reports its findings, we need to hold accountable those people who planned, promoted and paid for this crime against our country.
