Background

Today we inaugurate President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. After years of organizing, we won the White House, the Senate, and the House of Representatives.

Now is the time to lead. We are counting on President Biden, Vice President Harris, and a Democratic-led Congress to create progressive change and bring our country justice.

Together, they must immediately pass sweeping COVID relief and HR 1 For the People Act. These must be quickly followed by the John Lewis Voting Rights Act and the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act. They must understand to help our country the filibuster – a weaponized tool of white supremacy minority rule - must be abolished.

As they pass this progressive legislation there must also be justice. We cannot move forward and grow as a country until we address how we got here. This starts with convicting Trump, removing seditious Senators/Representatives, and using the Congressional Review Act to reverse Trump’s damaging precedents.

We have a historic opportunity to help and make sure this happens. We must commit to grassroots advocacy to push President Biden, Vice President Harris, and the Democratic-led Congress. Start today by calling Congress today.
