Thinking of becoming part of our volunteer community? Your unique strengths and enthusiasm are exactly what make Indivisible Oregon such a vibrant community. We’re excited to help you find roles where you will shine!

Teams

  • Brand-building, print and video content creation.

  • Inspire engagement across many platforms. Posting, scheduling, and replying to comments to keep conversations active.

  • Inspire readers to take action through weekly communications. Copy-editing, proofreading, some writing.

  • Build a visually appealing, intuitive, and functional site. Add or change information regularly.

  • Help new volunteers find their 
place in this movement.

  • Practice empathetic listening and have real conversations with voters. Listening skills, comfortable speaking on the phone and with some technology.

  • Have meaningful, deep-listening conversations with voters. Good Listening skills: curious, empathetic, open-minded.

  • Write personalized postcards and letters to encourage voter participation.

  • Create resistance opportunities and bring people together in community.

  • Create fun and meaningful visuals. Make art pieces or props for use at protests and actions.

  • Facilitate, communicate, and unite with people and groups across boundaries.

  • Plan agendas and conduct both in-person and virtual events. Recruitment of speakers and logistics.

  • Support events by assembling necessary materials, helping with set-up, check-in, and administrative tasks.

  • Oversee systems, tools, and digital operations that keep technology running smoothly and securely.

  • Raise funds to support and fuel the mission. Ask for support and follow up with thank-yous.

  • Manage funds and ensure accurate financial records. Record financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and maintain organized ledgers.

  • Transfer information with accuracy. Maintain data integrity, and ensure records are organized, complete, and up to date.

  • Manage purchasing/placing orders, distribution and tracking inventory.

  • Follow safety protocols and guide participants toward peaceful protest, assembly, and resistance. Train and mobilize for events held in various circumstances.

  • Develop relationships with organizations serving those in need. Create programs for Indivisible Oregon members to assist our communities.

  • Help guide people to actions that strengthen democracy. Helpful strengths: familiarity with how federal government operates, keen interest in politics and strong writing skills.
