Eligible voters of color are being purged from voter rolls at a much higher rate than white voters. People in minority communities were already struggling to reach the voting booth in voter-suppression states, due to the implementation of strict new voter ID laws, a reduction in polling places and/or early voting days, and many other tactics. Indivisible Oregon is excited to be working with Reclaim Our Vote by phonebanking to inform and mobilize voters of color to make sure they are registered and they know how to get a ballot and vote. Because we all need a voice—and every vote matters, now more than ever.

We will provide detailed training on the Zoom meeting, then we'll make some calls to Georgia voters before coming back to debrief with the group. Organizers will be on hand the whole event to answer questions. After that, you'll be able to phonebank on your own time any day between now and Election Day.
