Background
We all deserve to THRIVE with racially just education, healthcare, jobs, infrastructure, voting, and climate. President Biden, VP Harris, and Congressional Democrats are leading the way with the THRIVE agena - anchored in racial, economic, and gender justice. And we need them to be bold to get the job done.
Bills have been proposed, some have even passed the House. Time is of the essence and Congressional Democrats must return from the current Congressional recess, waste no time, and boldly pass the THRIVE agenda, The For the People Act (S1), The John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act (HR4), Washington D.C Admission Act (HR 51), The American Recovery Act, the PRO Act.
Republicans obstruct and gaslight with calls for “bipartisanship”. The THRIVE agenda is bipartisan - it helps people from both parties, from all zip codes.
Our calls will help Congress be bold and understand what is at stake. GOP led statehouses are working hard to keep us from THRIVING. Swift, bold action from the federal government can stem this anti-democratic tide.
Congress must be bold and help America THRIVE. The filibuster must be reformed and the THRIVE agenda must be passed. We all deserve to THRIVE.
