FRIDAY RECAP: September 2, 2022

Every week, the forecast for Democrats looks brighter. Well, actually, the forecast for the other side is shaping up to be a disaster. The Trump selected candidates are busy scrubbing their websites to erase their opposition to abortion and otherwise appear as if they are normal people. Ha! We know who you are. Part of a gang of anti-democratic mobsters, threatening the opposition and waving \ guns. They’ve taken off their hoods and that’s leaving voters with clear choices: Preserve democracy or replace it with government by and for the dangerous, self-righteous, greedy, single-minded bozos who want to set the rules for themselves, and to hell with the rest of Americans.

Wednesday - REMARKABLY, GOOD GOVERNANCE WORKS

President Biden has promised to cut greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030, which requires electrifying the government’s vehicle fleet. Since 1/3 of them are USPS trucks, Postmaster DeJoy’s award of a contract replacing its 30-year-old fleet largely with gas guzzling trucks cannot be allowed to move forward. Neither can DeJoy’s continuing privatization plans. Biden must nominate two Commissioners committed to replacing DeJoy. Check out this DA.
