FRIDAY RECAP: February 18, 2022
Washington may still be focused on a possible Russian invasion of Ukraine and on what will happen to Biden’s Supreme Court nominee and his other stalled nominations, but we must keep pressing our Members of Congress to move forward on progressive legislation.
We also must start focusing on the 2022 midterms. We cannot be demoralized by press prognostications of a GOP victory. Instead, we must commit to electing progressives at all levels. Action 3 provides suggestions for how to get involved in this fight.
Between now and November we must keep pushing our MoCs–to pass needed legislation and tout all we’ve accomplished so far, despite GOP obstruction. So, no matter how often you’ve called this week, commit to calling at least once more. And whatever the script, keep stressing the need for them and Biden to remind voters how Dems are working to improve our lives.
