FRIDAY RECAP: February 11, 2022
Although Washington’s focused on a possible Russian invasion of Ukraine and racist Senators’ attacks on Biden’s not-yet-named Supreme Court nominee, we must continue to press our Members of Congress to move forward on progressive legislation–as our Daily Actions demonstrate.
We also need to start gearing up for the 2022 midterm elections. We cannot let GOP attempts to keep us from voting and the ultra-right Supreme Court’s’ refusal to enforce the Voting Rights Act deter us from working to elect progressives at all levels. Action 3 provides suggestions for how to get involved.
Between now and November we must keep pushing our MoCs. So, no matter how often you’ve called this week, commit to calling at least once more. And whatever the script, keep stressing the need for them and Biden to remind voters how Dems are working to improve our lives.
