When Biden took office, the pandemic was raging and our economy was on life-support.
From Day One, he tackled these crises head-on:
Unleashing a surge in spending that slashed childhood poverty in half and lowered the costs of families’ everyday expenses—helping families achieve a better life;
Rescuing the economy, reviving America’s infrastructure and manufacturing sector, creating 14+ million jobs, supporting the beleaguered union movement, and changing the course of the pandemic.
To further reduce expenses for hard-working Americans, he lowered prescription drug, healthcare, and energy costs, eliminated hidden junk fees ripping off consumers, attacked corporate price gouging, implemented historic student debt relief, and provided billions in incentives to subsidize purchase of “green” appliances.
If re-elected with a Democratic Congress, he’ll be able to “finish the job”:
Implementing free preschool for 3- and 4-year-olds, generous child-care subsidies; expanded tax credit for families with children, paid parental leave, and elder care spending;
Passing the PRO Act to boost collective bargaining;
Raising taxes on the rich.
Trump by contrast promises to extend the rich’s 2017 tax cuts and will completely ignore the needs of ordinary Americans.
