WHAT MAGA WANTS
Republicans in Congress have many ideas to drive their campaigns, not all of which they’re willing to share with American voters.
QUICK READ: Biden’s agenda is out for all to see, including rebuilding America and preparing for the challenges ahead. Republicans, however, are having a hard time settling on one “contract” with Americans and have proposals all over the map. Hard to find in those proposals are ideas for paying for their wishlist.

BACKGROUND
Biden’s agenda is out for all to see, including rebuilding America and preparing for the challenges ahead. Republican proposals are much murkier.
While MAGA candidates have been busy scrubbing from their websites their abortion views, other Republicans are publicizing varied agendas for America.
Texas Republicans are, as usual, the most brazen. Their wishlist includes calling homosexuality “abnormal,” rejecting all gun-free zones, and repealing the 1965 Voting Rights Act while trumpeting Texas’ right to secede.
Somewhat less hyperbolically, House Republicans are touting their “Commitment to America.” It calls for 200,000 more cops but kills Biden’s plan for 87,000 IRS agents relabels their forced birth agenda of “defending the unborn.”
Florida Senator Rick Scott, the Republican Senate Campaign Committee’s Chair, takes a different path. Scott’s “Rescue America'' plan includes raising taxes and killing Social Security and Medicare. Despite blowing $180 million on social media, the campaign has gone nowhere.
None of these proposals has a price tag.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has said little. He believes attacking Democrats' policies is more successful than proposing his own.
At the polls, voters can either pick a party that will continue rebuilding and modernizing America or one that will further restrain the economy and pit Americans against one another. The choice is clear.
