It was a chaotic week in Congress and our representatives there need to hear from us. Tell them you have their back or how pending legislation will impact you.
It began with the GOP blocking efforts to raise the debt ceiling. It was their latest attempt to create discord and undermine our faith in government. Then, Wednesday, we supported Progressives and urged our Representatives to vote “no” on the infrastructure bill. And yesterday, we asked you to tell your Members of Congress to back the Freedom To Vote Act, because if certain people are denied the vote, we will be subject to the tyranny of the minority.
It may seem as if we saved America by electing Biden but all the trends point to the GOP’s greater, but less obvious, war on democracy.
