ACT FOR OUR FREEDOM TO VOTE
Jump to today’s actions:
Background
It is darkest before dawn.
This was true for the 2020 elections. It was far from assured we would turn back fascism - especially in a global pandemic. Our drum beat of progressive action led us to victory.
This was true for the Georgia Senate elections – no one thought we would win one, let alone both Senate seats. We made history, delivering a Senate majority that is delivering for America.
It is true now for the freedom to vote. Republicans saw our grit and will stop at nothing to cut us off from the ballot box. They are either emboldened or making their last stand – which one of these it is, is up to us and our actions.
We are the ones who will keep our freedom to vote – building on the work that generations of activists, particularly Black activists, have done before us.
We will show our 2020 victories were the beginning of progressive change – where grassroots actions give voice to Americans to elect leaders who will help us all – no matter what we look like or where we live.
Join Indivisible Oregon to show the GOP we are the ones who will keep our freedom to vote.
